Programs

Need to covert saves from one format to another to use in another program?  Want to convert on your own?  Here's a list of programs I use, and what they do!  Later I might add a tutorial section, but for now, I'll list the programs and give a link to them!
PSXGameEdit v1.60

To me, this is perhaps the most importat tool at my disposal!  This little proggy will let you load up memory card formats from all the major formats!

It loads all the following formats: GME, MC, MCD, MCR, DDF, and VGS.

It allows you to save to any of the formats mentioned above, and it even lets you export a single save as a wide range of single game saves.

Memory Card Single Game Save formats include the following: MCS, MCR, MCX, PSX, and GAM.

XP, AR, GS, Caetla game saves are also supported in the PSX format of single game saves.  Meaning, you can use a USB device to export your save as a PSX, then use a Gameshark and import it from the USB stick!  Note, however, not all versions of Gameshark have the ability to import.

PSX Raw Converter

This is an tool that takes your single game saves, and converts them from MCS and MCR to a raw PSX format.  Now, it can also convert the raw format back to a MCS/MCR format too!

Note, that windows dislikes certain characters in a file name, so any game that has some characters (like ">" or "<") will give you a warning.  If you have a modded PS2 with the ability to run uLaunchElf, then your fine.  If you don't, your pretty much screwed.  You'll have to rename the save inside of uLaunchElf to beable to use it.

Don't know what the official site is, but the link takes you to PS2 Save Tools to get the program.
